Spring Scramble

Spring Scramble is a coop vs game about hunting for eggs, Both players take turns moving through grass to look for eggs. Each selectable character has their own special move and their own special, that are usable when your special bar is above 1/2. The special move allows for a change of movement and the special allows for varied abilities, But both replace the regular movement for your turn. The game ends when one player cannot beat the other player even if they collect the rest of the eggs on the board.

The Specials are as follows: 

Bunny - switch places with your opponent

Robin - see more of the board for 5 seconds

Sheep - Teleport to a random spot on the board

Fox  - Teleport Opponent to a random spot on the board

This game was made for the Easter Game jam 2024. We ran out of time in making this so there is no AI/single player mode, if there are no lobbies open you could always open 2 itch pages and play against yourself. This was my first time using netcode so there might be some issue with networking. I hope you enjoy the game!
